Boadicea the Victorious is a tribute to an idealized woman described as “strong, a little wild, extravagant and flamboyant”. In the 1st century, Boadicea, Queen of the Iceni, led a spectacular but ultimately doomed British revolt against the Roman occupant, and some of the mythical warrioress’s fierceness seems to have seeped into the stylish pewter, silver and gold adorned bottles.
